letter from the ceo...

Five years ago this month, my partner Eric Scheel and I left our corporate jobs to launch a new technology services venture that we called “Reside”.  Our founding principles were outlined over a couple of lattes (being a virtual “coffee shop” company at the time): Help customers solve technology problems, and build a fun and creative team culture. 

Today, we are 17 members strong and growing.  Over the years, we have retained our original values, while honing our message.  Our tagline “web for business.” speaks to our goal of delivering results to business people and processes through the application of web services and systems.  It is exciting to be part of an organization that knows what it’s good at, and has a passion for succeeding!  And as I look to our future, I can see that we are just getting started!

Much of our success can be attributed to the niche we have found in the marketplace, and the trust our clients place in us every day as they look to us for expertise in web strategy and technology.  But apart from what we do, our culture is maintained by the wonderful members of our team, and their willingness to embrace and carry forward our company’s mission and vision.  Thanks, team…You guys rock!

Thanks also to our families and mentors who have supported, guided, and cheered us on for the past five years.  To all who have played a role in seeing us to this exciting milestone – thank you!  Here’s to another five years of adventure!

A New Year Reminder

It's that time of year again...the dials have turned, and the digits have changed.  Here's a quick reminder that one easy way to keep your website looking fresh and relevant is to make sure you've updated the copyright dates throughout the site.  If you are a Reside client using Dynamic Fusebox for content management, this is a quick and easy change to make.  Simply update the footer page of your site, and the new date will be shown across all pages.  If you have any questions, or would like to discuss other updates to your website in the New Year, please reach your Reside account executive, or call us at 612.767.2000.

Successful CRM Event

Thanks to all who attended the recent CRM Success Tour, hosted by salesforce.com and sponsored by Reside.  We enjoyed the opportunity to connect with many of our current salesforce.com customers, and make several inroads with other companies considering the move to salesforce.com as their CRM solution. 

As our salesforce.com practice continues to grow, we look forward to supporting your business with quality, comprehensive CRM services!  If you missed this event, we hope to see you at the next Success Tour, likely to return to Minneapolis this Spring or Summer.  We will keep you posted!

Reside Team Continues to Grow

Reside is pleased to welcome two new team members to our organization in recent months: 

Casey Nepper has taken the role of Associate Project Manager, working with our customers, as well as our sales and development teams, to coordinate and communicate progress on client initiatives.  A graduate of St. John's University, majoring in Business, Casey has several years of experience in customer service and management roles, and enjoys the chance to collaborate with the many personalities at Reside to execute a well-oiled project or program for our customers.  We're excited to introduce Casey to many of our clients in the coming months!  Casey can be reached at cnepper@reside.biz.
 
Sarah Edwards has joined the Reside sales team in the role of Sales Associate.  In partnership with our Account Executives and leadership team, Sarah helps to serve existing client accounts, while providing valuable support through the proposal and sales process.  In previous sales positions, Sarah found that she enjoyed working with customers to create solutions that would truly meet their needs.  She approaches each new client opportunity with energy and enthusiasm, as well as dedication to providing quality service and results.  Graduating with a degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Sarah enjoys her role in personally interacting with Reside's clients and prospects.  Sarah can be reached at sedwards@reside.biz.

Reside Celebrity!  (Kind Of)

We're all just one happy family here at Reside, which is why we can't help but share this exciting news-bite with you!  On Sunday, January 22nd, you will want to tune in to America's Funniest Home Videos (on ABC at 6:00pm CST) to see one of Reside's "offspring" compete.  Andrew Murphy, the very funny 2-year old son of our team member Sophia Murphy, will compete as a finalist in this airing of AFV...and though we can't tell you the results of the show, we can tell you that you won't want to miss it!  For those of you who won't be able to catch the show, and unfortunately don't have TiVo - here's a sneak peak of Andrew's clip
