Salesforce.com launches new VAR program;

Salesforce.com unveiled today its new Force.com value-added reseller (VAR) program – an expansion of the enterprise cloud computing leader’s business model that will serve to grow sales of its cloud platform (Force.com) via a select portion of its existing partner network.
The strategic move to a VAR structure by salesforce.com underscores the growing demand for cloud-based solutions, as well as salesforce.com’s commitment to maintaining market leadership by providing the most flexible structure for engaging in the cloud via their Force.com platform.
